Turnkey Interior Fit-Out in Singapore, One In-House Team From Bare Shell to Move-In
You have signed for a bare or CAT A unit and now it has to become a working office, shop or F&B space by a fixed move-in date. Trends Interior delivers turnkey interior fit-out in Singapore with one in-house team, fitting out an empty unit with partitions, ceilings, M&E, joinery and finishes so the space is brand-right and ready to use. We have run commercial fit-out and renovation projects since 1988, we are BCA-registered, and we do not subcontract our trades.

What an interior fit-out actually means
An interior fit-out is the work of making an empty or bare-shell commercial unit usable. A new lease often hands you a CAT A space, which has raised flooring, a basic ceiling, lighting and core mechanical services, but no partitions, no meeting rooms, no branding and no finishes. The fit-out is the layer that turns that shell into a space your team can actually work in.
This is different from a bare renovation. A renovation reworks a space that is already fitted out, while a fit-out builds the partitions, ceilings, services, joinery and finishes for the first time so the unit matches how you work and how your brand should look. If your space is already in use and you are reworking it, our office renovation team handles that under the same in-house model.
Why one in-house team keeps your fit-out on schedule
The reason most fit-out works run late is the gap between trades. When the partition crew, the electrician, the ACMV team, the carpenter and the painters all belong to different companies, no single party owns the schedule, and a one-day slip in one trade pushes everything behind it.
Trends Interior keeps every trade in-house: electrical, drywall and partitions, ACMV, and our own carpentry production. One team is accountable from the first partition to the final clean, so the office fit-out works stay on time and the space is ready for your move-in date. For an office fit-out contractor, that single line of accountability matters more than the lowest quote, because a slipped handover costs you rent on two units and a delayed start for your team.
What is included in an interior fit-out (scope of works)
Office partitions, glass walls and meeting-room build-out
False ceilings and ceiling finishes
Flooring, carpet and floor finishes
Electrical, lighting and ACMV / M&E works
Carpentry and joinery, including reception counters, pantries and built-in storage
Painting, wall finishes, branding and final detailing before handover
Our partitions and ceilings are handled by our own drywall trade, and the electrical and ACMV are run by our own M&E team, so the services and the build line up instead of being patched together at the end.
Interior fit-out cost in Singapore
There is no single fixed rate for an interior fit-out, because the cost depends on what the space needs. A light CAT B office fit-out on a CAT A shell costs far less than a high-specification space with extensive joinery, glass partitioning and a fitted F&B kitchen. The main drivers are the size of the unit, the specification level, and how much partitioning, M&E and joinery the design calls for.
We give you a fixed-scope quotation (always negotiable, & match the best market price) after a free site assessment, so the fit-out cost is tied to the real work and the real spec in front of us rather than a guess over the phone. There are no padded line items and minimize or avoid variation charges at handover. No surprise charges.

Interior fit-out for every commercial space
Trends Interior is a commercial-only contractor, so we do not take on residential or HDB work. Our interior fit-out covers offices, retail and shop units, and F&B and hospitality spaces across Singapore. When the lease ends, the same in-house team handles office and commercial reinstatement to return the unit to its required condition, so one contractor can take you from move-in to move-out.

Frequently Asked Questions about Interior Fit-Out Singapore
An interior fit-out is the work of turning a bare or empty commercial unit into a usable, brand-right space. It covers partitions, false ceilings, flooring, electrical and ACMV / M&E, carpentry and finishes, so the space is ready for your team to move in and work.
A fit-out fits out an empty or bare-shell unit for the first time, building the partitions, ceilings, services and finishes a tenant needs. A renovation reworks a space that is already fitted out. Both are commercial works, and we handle each with the same in-house team.
CAT A is the base fit-out a landlord usually provides, such as raised flooring, basic ceiling, lighting and mechanical services. CAT B is the tenant fit-out on top of that, including partitions, meeting rooms, finishes, joinery and branding. Most office fit-out works we deliver are CAT B on a CAT A shell.
Office fit-out cost depends on the size of the unit, the specification level, and how much partitioning, M&E and joinery the space needs. There is no single fixed rate, so we confirm the cost with a fixed-scope quotation after a free site assessment rather than a guess over the phone.
A typical office fit-out takes a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the size and specification of the space. We schedule the works around your move-in date, and because all trades are in-house there are no subcontractor gaps between stages.
Yes. We offer commercial interior design and design-and-build, so the same team that draws the space also builds it. That keeps the design intent and the fit-out works aligned and removes the gap between designer and contractor.
No. We are a commercial-only contractor and deliver interior fit-out for offices, retail and shop units, and F&B spaces. We do not take on residential or HDB work.
Yes. We handle building management and MCST submissions and carry out the fit-out works within their permitted hours and authority requirements, so the coordination is not left on your plate.
